actualy in most countries it is not illeagal to have a site like katz.ws this is because they are not uploading ot sharing any files themselves….. as an X lawferm emplyee i hapen to have foughten some of these places when families come to me about those people giving or showing access to XXX rated material without warning (AO 18+ law).

they usualy win or i turn the famlies down because it’s not illegal to show access to illegalty but it is only illegal if they where hosting the files them selves. since all where hosted from third party it is up to places of uploading (rapidshare, megaupload, etc) to warn about content of unexpected possible material. and also it is not illegal to download the files but it is illegal to upload the files. copyright infringement does not happen when downloaded but when uploaded. atleast in the USA government. places like poland would be illegal to download but site was hosted where the law of p2p does not exist. I hope this is some help tword anserwing the question on why they are down. the first person probly hit the nail on the head ;].
